Marjorie I. Holmes CHEYENNE, Wyo. - Marjorie I. Holmes, 78, Cheyenne, died Monday, March 4, 1996, at United Medical Center-West. Miss Holmes was born April 1, 1917, northwest of Salina, Kan. She was a teacher in the Salina School District and a member of the Roman Catholic Church. She was a member of National Education Association, Wyoming National Educational Association, Alpha Delta Kappa Sorority and St. Mary's Guild. Survivors include a sister, Helen L. Stokes of Cheyenne; and a niece and nephews. An inurnment service will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Crown Point Cemetery, rural Salina, the Rev. Alvin Werth officiating. Memorials may be made to Boys Town. The body was cremated. Schrader Funeral Home, 2323 Carey Ave., Cheyenne 82001, handled the arrangements, and Geisendorf-Rush Smith, Salina, is handling local arrangements. |
